Professional development opportunities

The Minnesota Association for the Education of Young Children (MnAEYC) and the Minnesota School-Age Care Alliance (MnSACA) presents:

School-Age Leadership Journey Series

This series is a cohort learning model for afterschool program staff in supervisory/leadership positions, and other program leaders who are looking to advance their career. It includes a combination of trainings and Communities of Practice (COPs). Both the trainings and COPs will be interactive and relevant, designed to match your current professional development needs and goals.

School-Age Super Saturday on Nov. 4 

An engaging professional development event designed specifically for staff working in school-age care/afterschool and summer programs to deepen their knowledge and skills in providing high-quality youth development opportunities.  Open to everyone who works with children and youth in out of school time.

  • Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA) Basics
    Dec. 15, 2017 - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • YPQA Reliability for the External Assessor
    Jan. 30-31, 2018 - 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
